33 years ago, I came to the United States as an immigrant. 26 years ago today, I had the privilege of becoming a naturalized U.S. citizen. From the moment I arrived, I fell in love with this country.

Having had the opportunity to travel to many countries around the world, I have developed a deep appreciation for what makes America so special. In my humble opinion, it remains the greatest nation in the world—a place where hard work, freedom, and opportunity allow people from all backgrounds to build a better future.

I am blessed that my family and I have the privilege of calling this country home and to raise our children here. On this Independence Day, I proudly celebrate the nation that has given us so much.
