Straightening her teeth wasn’t really about how they looked.

Crowding had made some areas increasingly difficult to keep clean, and she was worried about what that could mean for the teeth she hoped to keep for years to come.

So we’re using clear aligners to improve the position of her teeth and make those areas easier to access and care for.

She’s still in treatment, but the change is already easy to see.

Sometimes orthodontics isn’t about creating a prettier smile. It’s about making the smile you have easier to maintain.

Meet Caleb 👋

For Caleb, great patient care starts before you ever sit in the chair.

He’s naturally outgoing, easy to talk to, and especially good at helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and never rushed. Whether he’s answering questions, talking through financial options, or simply remembering the little things that matter, his goal is to make the experience feel personal from the very beginning.

Outside the office, you’ll usually find him spending time with Violet, talking Steelers football, golfing, fishing, or enjoying time outdoors.

We’re grateful for the way Caleb helps make Coastal Smile Design feel welcoming, thoughtful, and genuinely personal.

Steven had already lost several back teeth, and years of wear were taking a toll on the teeth that remained. He knew a removable denture wasn’t something he could tolerate, and he wanted to do what he could to keep his remaining teeth.

This wasn’t a one-tooth-at-a-time problem. After crown lengthening with a periodontist, we restored each of Steven’s remaining teeth with crowns as part of a full-mouth reconstruction. Temporary restorations allowed us to test the plan and make adjustments to both function and appearance before moving forward with the final restorations.

Cases like Steven’s are some of the dentistry I enjoy most. There isn’t one isolated tooth to fix. It requires stepping back, understanding why things have broken down, and figuring out how all of the pieces need to work together.

The goal wasn’t to give Steven someone else’s smile. It was to rebuild what had been lost, protect what remained, and create a result that looked natural on him.

Sometimes, a small change can bring an entire smile into harmony.

In this case, two naturally undersized teeth created spaces that affected the overall balance and appearance of his smile. We restored those two teeth with custom porcelain veneers.

The goal wasn’t a makeover. It was to design veneers that look like they belong—matching the surrounding teeth in shape, shade, and character.

When people ask what I love most about cosmetic dentistry, my answer isn't veneers or technology.

It's the opportunity to help someone feel like themselves again.

Every smile I create begins long before any treatment starts. It begins with listening, understanding your goals, and carefully planning every detail. My goal has never been to create a "perfect" smile—it's to create one that feels natural, healthy, and uniquely yours.

I believe the best dentistry is equal parts science, artistry, and trust. Every patient deserves my full attention, my best thinking, and a smile designed specifically for them.

Sometimes replacing veneers has less to do with appearance—and everything to do with comfort.
Our patient came to us with porcelain veneers that she still liked the look of, but over time they no longer felt comfortable. She described them as feeling too bulky, making it difficult to comfortably close her lips.
