Growing skills, expanding access to care!

Last Friday, September 18, we welcomed VCU D4 dental students Thara Pierce and Christopher Troici to Chesapeake Care Clinic through our service-learning partnership with VCU Dentistry.

This collaboration gives senior dental students hands-on clinical experience while helping Chesapeake Care Clinic expand access to oral health care for community members who are uninsured or do not have Medicare or Medicaid.

A special thank-you to Dr. Kenneth Marinak for preceptoring Thara and Chris and supporting their experience at the clinic. We’re grateful for partnerships like this that bring together education, service, and quality care for our community. 🦷✨

Chesapeake Care, Inc. is grateful for our partnership with VCU Dentistry’s Service Learning Program, connecting hands-on learning with meaningful service to our community.
