Hello friends,
It’s that time to check in on your compressor and vacuum. Please make sure that it’s warm in the mechanical room when it starts up but not hot in the middle of the day. Our goal is to make sure the temp is just right.

Warning to all my clients! Scican has put out a lot of great products. Unfortunately it looks like the sterilizer automatic filling is starting to become a liability.. There are a few offices that have reported water leaking or flooding as a result of the automatic filling. I would suggest to turn off the water when you leave for the day.

Miller’s Dental Service is an essential business. Please remember when leaving any equipment to rest for any significant time can cause start up issues. Please follow guidelines to preserve the functionality of your equipment.
Air Compressor: Make sure your annual maintenance has been done. Water sitting in your coalescent filter can solidify oils and solids.
Vacuum: Make sure vacuum line cleaning solution is processed through each room. Change amalgam separator filter and solids trap.
Sterilizer: Do your monthly cleaning procedures and drain when complete
Delivery units: Run water line cleaning solutions (shock) and then run your water lines without any water in the bottles. This will push air through your lines and clear the water out (some filters may require you to keep water in them).
With your vacuum and compressor I suggest to turn them on at least once a week to prevent any bearings from seizing.
