At the 2026 Porto Alegre International Marathon, Paralympic athlete Augusto Abner Cerqueira completed all 42 kilometers while managing foot drop, demonstrating remarkable determination and athleticism.

Using Fillauer's Dynamic Walk ankle-foot orthosis (AFO), Augusto shared how the device played an important role in helping him reach his goal.

"From the first kilometer to the finish line, the orthosis delivered the perfect combination of comfort, propulsion, and reliability. It became a seamless part of my run and helped me perform at my best throughout the marathon."
