Our memorial service for Jim Fedusenko will be open to all who wish to attend. The service will take place in a forested area, so please dress comfortably. Jim loved nature and we hope to honor his memory surrounded by the beauty he cherished.

In lieu of flowers dad wanted you to consider donating to your local church youth group (school, camp, pathfinders, etc.) His favorites were Indian Creek Camp and Pathfinders.

I lost my dad today. If you never had the chance to meet him, he knew no stranger. If you needed a shirt, he would have given you his favorite one off his back. His beef ribs were world-renowned. He loved the underdog and would cheer them to become champions. I didn’t realize that everyone didn’t grow up like I did with absolute unconditional love until I got older.

My dad would speak no ill will towards anyone. He was as strong as a bear but as gentle as a teddy bear with his hugs. He loved his family more than life itself. He lived life to the fullest. He believed in everyone. Your best was always enough and he never questioned if it was your best. He taught us the reward of hard work. He lived life simply. He always had a joke ready for the occasion. His home was always open to anyone he met. He gave everything he had to those he loved, and he loved everyone.

The world got a little more silent today without him, but he would want us to make it brighter than he left it. Love you, Dad. We will miss you so much; it doesn’t seem real.
