Happy Birthday to the man, the myth, the sweet tea legend! Dr. Tripp Cockerham🍻🏆

The one who somehow manages to be the best boss, a great periodontist, the biggest sports fanatic, and still the first person to help absolutely anyone.

He may hate pictures, but every patient and every person around him has a million reasons to appreciate him. Thank you for taking incredible care of your patients, leading with kindness, making us laugh daily, and being the definition of someone who truly gives his all.

Today we celebrate our birthday KING 👑 fueled by sweet tea, sports stats, and a heart bigger than most.

The office would not be the same without you. Hope your day is as legendary as you are 🥳

Bleeding around an implant is never something we ignore.🦷 🔍

Bleeding on probing is a significant clinical finding and often an early sign of inflammation around the implant. Unlike natural teeth, implants lack a periodontal ligament and have a different blood supply…making them more susceptible to rapid progression of disease.

What may start as peri-implant mucositis can quickly advance to peri-implantitis, leading to bone loss and potential implant failure if left untreated.

Early detection, routine monitoring, and proper maintenance are key to protecting the longevity of your implant. ⚙️

Healthy implants require just as much care as natural teeth ✨

Today we’re celebrating the team that keeps everything running behind the scenes 🤍

From scheduling and coordination to patient experience and problem-solving, our administrative team is the backbone of Signature Perio. Your organization, dedication, and attention to detail do not go unnoticed.

We’re so grateful for everything you do; today and every day.

Why we perform soft tissue grafting 🦷✨

Gum recession isn’t just cosmetic, it can lead to sensitivity, increased risk of decay, and continued tissue loss over time.

Gingival grafting helps to:
• Cover exposed root surfaces
• Reduce sensitivity
• Improve esthetics
• Strengthen and stabilize the tissue

Healthy gums aren’t just about looks… they protect your teeth for the long term.

A little late… but too special not to share 💗

Last week at Signature Perio was full of appreciation and celebration! Honoring our amazing hygienists (shout out to the ones who missed the picture) and celebrating a sweet baby on the way 🍼✨🩵

Grateful for a team that feels like family every single day 🦷

This is who takes care of your smile… just a few years ago ✨

From tiny humans to the team you trust today, just a little more experience (and a lot better at flossing).

We may look a little different now, but the care, attention, and dedication has always been there 🤍
