Please help us welcome Dr. Ashwin Ravisankar to the Signature Periodontics & Implant Dentistry family! 💛

Dr. Ravisankar is dedicated to providing exceptional periodontal and implant care while helping every patient feel comfortable, informed, and confident throughout their treatment.

With advanced training in periodontics, dental implant surgery, and IV conscious sedation, he is passionate about combining the latest techniques with a compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.

Outside the office, Dr. Ravisankar enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring new restaurants, traveling, and staying active.

The one who somehow manages to be the best boss, a great periodontist, the biggest sports fanatic, and still the first person to help absolutely anyone.

Bleeding on probing is a significant clinical finding and often an early sign of inflammation around the implant. Unlike natural teeth, implants lack a periodontal ligament and have a different blood supply…making them more susceptible to rapid progression of disease.

What may start as peri-implant mucositis can quickly advance to peri-implantitis, leading to bone loss and potential implant failure if left untreated.
