🏈 The best teams know that every player matters.
And when it comes to your child’s smile, having the right team behind them matters, too. 💙
😁At Laxer, Long & Savage, our pediatric dentistry and orthodontics teams work together to support your child’s smile as they grow from their earliest dental visits to their teenage years.
Because healthy smiles aren't built in one game.
They're built through consistent care, prevention, and a team that gets to know your family.

🙌🏻We're proud to cheer on the Carolina Panthers this season!

When parents hear “braces,” they often think about a straighter smile. 😊
And yes, that's part of it.
But orthodontic care can be about much more than appearance.
Proper alignment can make teeth easier to brush and floss, help improve bite function, and address concerns involving spacing, crowding, or jaw development.
🦷 At Laxer, Long & Savage, we look at the whole picture not just how your child's smile looks today, but how it can develop over time.😁

💙Let's help your child feel confident in their smile.

Your child may be focused on the next game but as parents, we’re also thinking about keeping them safe. 🏀⚽🏈
A properly selected mouthguard can help protect your child's teeth and surrounding structures during sports.
And because kids grow and their needs change, the right mouthguard isn't necessarily the same one they used last season.

😁Before the next big game, make sure their smile is ready to play, too.

Sometimes the signs that your child may benefit from an orthodontic evaluation aren't as obvious as you might think. 👀🦷
📝Have you noticed:
🔹 Difficulty biting or chewing?
🔹 Crowded or protruding teeth?
🔹An overbite, underbite, or crossbite?
🔹 Mouth breathing?
🔹 Baby teeth being lost earlier or later than expected?

These don't automatically mean your child needs braces but they can be good reasons to have their smile evaluated.

Your child may be growing taller, losing baby teeth, and gaining independence but their smile is growing and changing, too. 🦷💛
Baby teeth play an important role in guiding permanent teeth into place.
That’s why regular dental visits matter, even when everything seems fine.

When it comes to your child’s smile, waiting until there’s a problem can mean a more complicated solution later.
🦷 Regular dental care from an early age can help identify dental issues before they become bigger, and potentially more invasive, problems.
🎯The goal is to help prevent dental issues whenever possible and give your child the best chance at a healthy smile as they grow. 💙
At Laxer, Long & Savage, we’re here to make preventive dental care a positive part of your child’s routine, with personalized care designed for growing smiles.

Start prevention early. 🗓 Schedule your child’s visit with our experts!

If your child may need braces, this is probably one of the first questions that comes to mind: ⌛How long are we talking?
And honestly? There isn't one answer.
Every smile is different. 😬Treatment time can depend on your child's individual needs, the type of treatment, how their teeth and jaws are developing, and how well they follow their orthodontic instructions.
That's why we don't believe in one-size-fits-all timelines.

Schedule an evaluation and let's talk about their smile. 🗓
