⚽🌎 World Cup fever has officially taken over the office!

- Bosnia is out. 😭
- USA is out. 😢

But Carolina? She's still smiling... as COLOMBIA IS STILL IN! 🔥

Today, our hygienist Carolina proudly traded her scrubs for her Colombia shirt, and let's just say... she's reminding the rest of us who still has a team to cheer for. 😂

We're wishing everyone an exciting World Cup and cheering on all of your favorite teams... especially if your name happens to be Carolina. 😉

¡Vamos Colombia! ⚽

Who are YOU rooting for?

🎓 Wishing Coleman all the best as he begins his next chapter — dental school in Charleston! 🦷

Today is Coleman’s last day with our team at Dentistry of Uptown Charlotte, and while we are incredibly excited for what lies ahead for him, saying goodbye is not easy.

Coleman has been so much more than an exceptional dental assistant. He has been a steady presence, a calm in the storm, a positive force, and an incredible team player. In a practice like ours, where we pride ourselves on working as one unit and genuinely enjoying what we do together each day, people like Coleman make all the difference.

Our team is a close-knit family, and his impact on our office, our patients, and each of us personally will be deeply missed.

We sent him off to school with a few of his favorite things: chips, dried meat, and nuts, because no sendoff would be complete without some essentials for the journey ahead. 😊

Coleman, thank you for your dedication, hard work, kindness, and unwavering positivity. We are so proud of you and cannot wait to watch you become an incredible dentist.

Charleston is gaining a great one.

Last weekend, our team had the privilege of stepping out of the office and into the community to support an incredible cause 💛

We attended and proudly sponsored the annual Duck Race hosted by KinderMourn at the beautiful U.S. National Whitewater Center, and what a meaningful day it was.

KinderMourn is a Charlotte-based nonprofit dedicated to supporting children, teens, and families who are grieving the loss of a loved one. Through counseling, support groups, and community programs, they provide a safe space for healing during some of life’s most difficult moments.

This year was especially meaningful for us, not just as sponsors, but as a team. Spending the day together outside the practice, rallying behind a cause that truly impacts our community, is exactly what stewardship means to us.

If you’re looking for a way to get involved locally, we can’t recommend KinderMourn enough. Whether through volunteering, donating, or simply helping spread awareness, your support can make a lasting difference.

We’re grateful to be part of a community that shows up for one another, and we’re already looking forward to next year 🐤💛

✨ The magic of Invisalign ✨

Every aligner is digitally designed to move your teeth with incredible precision about 0.2 mm at a time. Small, controlled movements that add up to a beautifully aligned smile.

But here’s what most people don’t realize…

Your teeth don’t naturally want to stay in their new position right away. When aligners aren’t worn as directed, teeth can begin shifting back toward where they started. This disrupts the sequence we’ve carefully planned and can make your next tray feel tight, uncomfortable, or not fully seat.

The result? Delays in treatment and less predictable movement.

⏱️ Consistency is everything. Wearing your aligners 22 hours per day keeps your treatment progressing smoothly, efficiently, and exactly as designed.

At Dentistry of Uptown Charlotte, we take a function-first approach combining advanced technology with precise planning to deliver results that are not only beautiful, but built to last.

💡 The trays do the work… as long as you wear them.

📸 Pictured: A highly compliant patient who completed her Invisalign treatment in just 13 months proof that consistency pays off.

When patients feel truly heard, everything changes.

We believe dentistry should go beyond fixing teeth - it should uncover the 𝘸𝘩𝘺, guide you with clarity, and deliver solutions built for your life.

🎉 Happy Birthday, Dr. Hotic! 🎉

Big energy. Big personality. Big expectations (for your teeth 😄)

Today we celebrate the one who brings life into every room, makes patients feel like family, and somehow keeps us all on our toes- in the best way.

Also cheers to 4 amazing years of carrying forward the foundation Dr. Heck built and making it completely her own.

More smiles, more laughs, and definitely more Dr. Hotic energy ahead 🥂

✨ Smile transformation ✨

Dr. Hotic aligned the teeth into their proper position, corrected the bite, and carefully smoothed and refined the edges of the front teeth to create a more balanced and natural-looking smile.

Sometimes small adjustments can make a big difference in both function and aesthetics.
