Whether we're fitting a custom-brace or fabricating an artificial limb, we use the finest products and most advanced clinical techniques available. We put a lot into our work, and we’re rewarded by seeing how much our patients get out of it. Each of our Lowcountry offices is staffed and equipped to serve adults as well as children, and each maintains a huge inventory of devices for patients of any size. Pediatric prosthetic care is not one appointment and one device. Kids grow. Their goals change. Their activities change. Their confidence grows too.

A better fit starts with comfort. If your device is not comfortable, it may not be giving you the support it was designed to provide.

Rubbing, pinching, slipping, pressure, or pain can change how you walk, how long you wear your device, and how confident you feel moving through the day. Sometimes a small adjustment can make a big difference.

Talk with your prosthetist or orthotist. We will evaluate the fit, look at how the device is working with your body, and help make it as comfortable and beneficial as possible.

An AFO can do more than hold your foot in place. A custom ankle-foot orthosis can help support weak muscles, improve stability, reduce trips, and make walking feel more controlled.

AFOs may be used for foot drop, stroke recovery, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, diabetic complications, nerve injuries, and other conditions that affect walking and lower-leg control.

Have you ever trialed a prosthetic foot?

You do not have to settle for a foot that does not match your gait, activity level, or everyday routine. We have trial feet you may be able to test, and we can also special order options for trial when needed.

The way a foot responds can change how walking feels, how much energy you use, and how confident you feel on different surfaces. If your current foot is not working for your life, ask your prosthetist what options may be a better fit.
