Day 2 of the Ultra Conservative Full Mouth Restorations of the Worn Dentition course brought the workflow full circle.

After establishing the diagnosis and design principles, participants finalized an ultra-minimal preparation treatment plan in exocad, exploring how digital planning can maximize preservation while still achieving predictable esthetic and functional outcomes.

We then reviewed the literature surrounding restorative material selection, discussing the mechanical and optical properties that influence long-term success in worn dentition cases. From there, the designs moved into production using the latest generation of 3D print resins and modern finishing protocols, demonstrating just how far additive manufacturing has advanced for definitive restorative workflows.

The future of conservative dentistry isn’t just digital—it’s predictable, repeatable, and more minimally invasive than ever before.

Day 1 of our Restoring the Worn Dentition Residency focused on a concept that is fundamentally changing restorative dentistry: the ability to be more conservative through digital planning and 3D printing.

Using live patient records, occlusal analysis, and exocad digital wax-ups, we explored how modern workflows allow us to prototype treatment before touching a tooth. Instead of relying solely on irreversible preparation, clinicians can now validate esthetics, function, and vertical dimension with printed prototypes and additive restorations—preserving more natural tooth structure while increasing predictability.

The future of worn dentition treatment isn’t just digital. It’s minimally invasive, data-driven, and patient-specific.

Excited to continue building on these concepts throughout the week.

Day 5 of the All-on-X Mini Residency wrapped up with one of the most rewarding parts of the workflow—bringing the final prosthetic to life.

Today focused on MiYO characterization, finishing protocols, reviewing final prosthetic design principles, and understanding the milling concepts that drive precision, fit, and long-term success. From digital design to final delivery, every detail matters.

An incredible week pushing full-arch workflows forward with an amazing group of clinicians and technicians. 🔥🦷

Day 4 of the All-on-X Mini Residency 🔥

Today was all about finalizing design, refining function, and bringing restorations to life through green state characterization. From digital planning to layered esthetics before sintering, attendees experienced how precision workflows and artistry come together in modern full-arch dentistry.

This is where digital dentistry stops looking digital. ⚡️

Day 3 of the MOD Institute All-on-X Miniresidency 🔥

Today was all about live surgery and seeing the workflow come to life in real time—from records and surgical ex*****on to immediate conversion workflows and digital integration.

One of the best parts was collaborating with Dr. Daniel Leach and sharing techniques, protocols, and clinical strategies with an incredible group of clinicians pushing full-arch dentistry forward.

This is where digital workflows stop being theory and start becoming predictable clinical reality.

Day 2 of the All-on-X Mini Residency 🔥

Today was all about surgical conversion workflows, immediate provisionals, and leveraging 3D printing to streamline full-arch treatment from surgery to final restoration. From digital records to printed conversions, attendees got hands-on with the workflows changing modern implant dentistry.

Tomorrow we take it live. Full surgery. Full workflow. Real-time ex*****on. 🚀

Where digital workflow meets artistry. ✨

Depth. Texture. Translucency.
This full-arch restoration was designed to disappear in the smile—not look manufactured.

Modern All-on-X is no longer just functional. It’s esthetic dentistry at the highest level.

I’m excited to teach these workflows at our upcoming All on X miniresidency

Quietly working with the team at Argen on something new—iNK 3D Liquid Ceramics—and the results have been on another level.

This isn’t just color application.
It’s controlled depth, internal effects, and true-to-life transitions—built directly into the restoration.

We’ve pushed it through real cases—full arch, cosmetics, high-demand esthetics—and the consistency is what stands out most.

Less guesswork. More control. Better outcomes.

This is what happens when digital workflows finally meet next-level characterization.

More coming soon.
