Dr. Kev got to hang out with a shipwrecked groundhog this morning. It lives on an island in the Haw River near Bynum. Per Dr. Kev, the groundhog, aka whistlepig, aka woodchuck, is the greatest animal to have ever lived on Earth.

We’re always glad to support the Chatham Education Foundation, so we’re partnering up for their Supplies 4 Success school supply drive to directly benefit Chatham County students and teachers. Now through August, you can drop off new school supplies to help local students start the school year ready to learn. Supplies go to school counselors and social workers who support students with the greatest need, as well as helping teachers start stocking classrooms. Want to help? Stop by CPD and donate! Dr. Kev is spending the weekend in Orlando talking to patients with osteogenesis imperfecta (OI). OI is a condition which makes for a weaker skeleton, and it often results in broken teeth. Dr. Kev had the disorder passed down to him from his mother, who got it from her father. Dr. Kev has broken many of his bones and teeth throughout his life, and his experiences led him to become a pediatric dentist.
