We really miss in-person Lunch&Learns like this one from Spring semester of 2020 (before the coronavirus pandemic) with exemplary DDS students, Dr. Hyman, our faculty advisor, Dr. Goldsmith, our senior advisor, and Dr. Hamer, our guest speaker and second-year endodontic resident at UNC ASoD.

🍷 Alpha Omega's Happy Hour with Hyman 🥃
We are beyond grateful for Dr. Mark E. Hyman and his unrelenting support of student and Jewish life on campus. Also, thank you to Dr. Jeff Goldsmith for establishing our Alpha Omega chapter at UNC and continuing to support us. Finally, thank you to Jake Laxer for all of his hard work as the immediate past president of our chapter. We had a wonderful time tonight, thank you all for being with us!

Today we kicked off our first event of the Central Sterilization Unit Internship Program which was created as part of our initiative to provide a unique educational/personal growth and enrichment opportunity here at UNC Adams School of Dentistry for pre-dental students studying in North Carolina.

This past Friday we partnered with the UNCG Dental Club. Seven astute pre-dental Spartans had the opportunity to experience the hard work that takes place in the sterilization center of our school as they indulged themselves with a few hands-on tasks.

Needless to say, this is a very rewarding and enriching service, and we look forward to our future events with UNCG Dental Club and other pre-dental organizations!

Say hi to friendly lemurs 🦥 We partnered with Duke Lemur Center this past Saturday. It was really fun to be a part of this. We eagerly look forward to our next volunteering events!

We had lots of fun today volunteering with the Chapel Hill Parks & Recreation. Our goal is to strengthen our relationship with the community and fulfill our role as service-oriented leaders of the society. This was a rewarding and humbling experience!
