My staff and I are headed home for some much deserved rest over the holidays. Call the office at 919-808-1188 for the emergency number if you have an urgent orthodontic problem. Otherwise, we will talk to you on Monday!

I will be using this time off to reflect on the gratitude I have for all those who contribute to the success of our practice including our patient families, the professionals who trust me with their patients, my wife August and kids River and Eden who all put work into the practice, and all those who contribute in big and small ways. Special thanks to Maggie Jones who has spent the last 5 years growing with us.

Today’s snow day post is a guessing game.

Which chi-mutt is nicknamed Pretty Princess Pee-pee Pants and which chi-mutt is nick named High Princess Hand Feed Me?

Hint, one does not like potty training in the snow, rain, mist, dewy grass, after the hours of 5pm, before the hours of 8:00am, below 70 degrees, above 72 degrees, or during nap time.

And the other one’s new trick to remind us she is the OG princess is refusing to eat unless we hand feed her…at a pain staking dainty pace.

Weather closure announcement!

What’s your guess for this afternoon’s weather in Southern Village? Picture #1 or picture #2? You never can tell in central North Carolina so we will be closed beginning at 10:30 this morning through all of Thursday morning. We might see a few patients that live in walking distance to the office on Thursday afternoon if it is safe enough to do so.

Feeling thankful for our loyal patients who become like work family over the years. We have such a great time and create some great friendships and connections along the way. It’s hard not to when we see you every 8 weeks for a few years at least! Thank you for growing with us in our journey. Our new puppy Sadie and our not so new puppy had a great week in the snow and hope you did too!
