🦷✨ Fun Fact! ✨🦷
Did you know… Sharks never run out of teeth?! 🦈
Some sharks can grow over 20,000 teeth in their lifetime! 😲
Good thing you only need to take care of 20 baby teeth (and later, 32 adult ones)! 🪥

Keep brushing those pearly whites and you’ll be a tooth-brushing champ in no time! 🏆😁

👶🖐️ Thumb Sucking: Cute Now, But Could Affect Their Smile Later!

Did you know prolonged thumb sucking—especially after age 4—can affect how your child’s teeth and jaw develop? 😬 It’s a common comfort habit, but over time, it may lead to:

➡️ Crooked teeth
➡️ Bite issues (like an open bite or overbite)
➡️ Changes in the roof of the mouth

💡 The good news? With gentle guidance, encouragement, and a little creativity, most kids can break the habit successfully!

At Chantilly Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Fontes and our team are here to help with tips, resources, and lots of support for you and your child. 💕

Let’s keep those growing smiles healthy and strong! 😁

🏁✨ Ka-chow! Look who made a pit stop at our office — it’s Lightning McQueen! 🚗💨 Even race car champions know the importance of keeping their smile in tip-top shape! 🦷✨

Our young patients had a blast meeting their favorite racing star and learning that brushing, flossing, and regular dental check-ups are the real road to victory! 🏆😁

Thanks for racing by, #95! ❤️

🪥🦆 We had some honking special visitors today! A gaggle of geese waddled by to check out our smiles—and maybe schedule a cleaning! 😄

While they may not need braces or fluoride treatments, they definitely turned heads and brightened our day. 🪿✨

⚽🏐 Dr. Fontes is having a BUSY weekend… not at the office, but on the sidelines!

Between cheering at the soccer field and racing to the volleyball court, it was a full-on sports mom weekend — and she wouldn’t have it any other way! 💙💪

From early morning games to post-match snacks, supporting her kids in what they love is the best kind of chaos. 🥰

What sports do YOUR kids love to play? Drop them below! 👇 Let’s hear it for all the awesome young athletes out there! 🙌

🦷✨ Guess who came for a check-up today? The Worry Monster! 😬👾

Even brave little monsters get the jitters before seeing the dentist — but guess what? With a little reassurance and a lot of sparkly toothpaste, the Worry Monster realized there was nothing to be afraid of! 💙🪥

He got his teeth checked, learned how to floss (tricky with all those monster teeth!), and even got a shiny sticker for being so brave! 🌟

If your little one is feeling nervous about their next dental visit, remind them: it’s okay to have worries — even monsters do! But just like the Worry Monster, they might leave with a big smile and no worries at all! 😄💚
