It is with great sadness that we inform the dental community of Harold Wilken’s passing Saturday, February 15, 2025. Harold, a 37-year Denture Tech, began his career as a dental technician in 1962 with Campbell Dental Laboratory. This is where Jerry Ragle first met Harold at age 18, when Jerry entered the field. In 1979 Jerry opened Ragle Lab and in 1985 Harold joined Ragle Lab until his retirement in 1999. Harold was a master at his craft. He also was a master in life and touched many who he trained as denture techs throughout the years. He was always willing to share and educate. He always strived for excellence in everything he did. Upon his retirement the “Wilken” was established. This award is given once a year at Ragle’s annual holiday dinner. The plaque reads; “This plaque is a reminder of what we all strive for and some achieve”. Of course, Harold was the 1st recipient of the award in 1999 and every year thereafter he says, “I have never won it since”. Harold was a friend, a colleague and mentor to all who worked with him here at RDL. He will be missed tremendously…. Ragle Lab will be closed Friday, February 21st so staff are able to attend the services.
