Happy National Coffee Day to every patient who's sipped their way through a Monday (we see you).

Coffee is part of life β€” and so is a bright smile.

Our tips for keeping both:
πŸ₯› Add a little milk to neutralize acidity.
πŸ’§ Rinse with water after your cup.
πŸͺ₯ Wait 30 minutes before brushing.
🦷 Keep up with your professional cleanings!

Enjoy every cup β€” we'll keep your smile bright. β˜•βœ¨

September is the perfect time for a benefits check-in. Most dental insurance plans run January through December β€” which means if you have unused benefits, they may not roll over.

Here's what that means for you:
βœ… Preventive care (like cleanings) is often covered at 100%
βœ… You've already met part of your deductible
βœ… Waiting could mean paying more out-of-pocket next year

Not sure what your plan covers?

Call our office β€” we'll help you figure it out. No complicated insurance-speak, we promise. 😊

"For me to do this is probably, like, somebody else having major brain surgery or life-threatening surgery."

That's how one of our patients, Kathy, described coming to the dentist. She travels 270 miles to see us because she knows we understand that her dental anxiety isn't something she can just "get over" – it's a real fear that requires specialized care and compassion.

CBS News recently featured our approach to treating patients with dental anxiety, and we're proud to be part of the conversation about this often-overlooked condition. Studies show that 1 in 5 Americans has some level of dental fear, but we believe that number is actually much higher.

The good news? With the right support, sedation options, and a dental team that truly understands anxiety, patients like Kathy can get the care they need. She walked out smiling, saying, "I have a nice, shiny new tooth!" – and that's exactly why we do what we do.

Your fear is valid. Your need for specialized care is real. And we're here for you every step of the way.

You're not alone. An estimated 33 million American adults struggle with dental anxiety at some point in their lives – and if you're reading this, we understand, and we are here to help.

CBS News recently featured our practice and the work we do with patients who experience dental anxiety. One patient described it as "anxiety on steroids" – she's an ICU nurse and EMT who's faced countless medical emergencies, yet the dentist's office was her biggest challenge.

Here's the thing: dental phobia is a recognized condition, and it deserves to be treated with understanding, not judgment. Whether you need sedation, pre-appointment phone calls, or just someone who truly gets it, personalized care can make all the difference.
If you've been putting off needed dental work because of anxiety, we want you to know that we'll meet you with exceptional care, kindness, and compassion. Your comfort and peace of mind are just as important as your oral health.
