National Dental Hygiene Month Begins 🦷

October celebrates National Dental Hygiene Month, a great time to reinforce healthy routines. Our hygienists love showing kids how to brush and floss with fun demonstrations and games. Every visit includes hands-on tips for keeping little mouths clean and happy all year. 😊

Hygiene tip: try brushing your child’s teeth in small circles instead of back and forth for a better clean.

As Halloween fun approaches, it’s a great time to make a plan for keeping little smiles healthy! 🎃🦷

When the treats start rolling in, encourage kids to enjoy candy with or shortly after a meal rather than snacking on it throughout the day. Fewer sugar exposures throughout the day can help lower the risk of cavities. 🍬

A little planning now can make for a happy Halloween and healthy smiles!

National Gum Care Month Tips

September is National Gum Care Month! Healthy gums matter even for the youngest smiles. We teach kids how to brush along the gumline and explain why flossing helps keep their mouths healthy, not just cavity-free.

Ask us at your next recare appointment how you can keep gums in great shape at home. Strong habits early can prevent issues later!
