FYI: Most people don’t realize that a single tooth can have multiple tiny canals inside it. When a tooth needs a root canal, it’s important that every canal is found and treated. Sometimes those canals can be difficult to see with a traditional 2D X-ray.

That’s where CBCT imaging helps. It gives our specialty team a 3D view of the tooth, so we can see the full anatomy and treat the problem more precisely. Better visibility means better care and a better chance of saving the tooth.

My heart is overflowing from an incredible humanitarian mission in the Dominican Republic with Smiles for Life!

Despite tropical storms and challenging conditions, we were able to provide essential dental care to over 400 beautiful souls in need. What touched me most deeply was the opportunity to not just assist with dental procedures, but to truly connect with the people, especially the children. From painting nails and applying temporary tattoos to holding their hands during treatments, every moment reinforced why I love what I do.

One of my most memorable experiences was helping a young patient through a complex procedure requiring multiple extractions. Seeing her big hug and smile afterward reminded me of why we were there - to make a difference, one smile at a time.

I'm incredibly thankful to my amazing workplace for supporting this life-changing opportunity. The warmth and gratitude of the Dominican communities we served will forever hold a special place in my heart. ❤️

These experiences remind me that dentistry isn't just about procedures - it's about caring for people and bringing comfort when they need it most.
