Recession or being "long in the tooth" is common but correctable. Take a look at Joe who came in with his root surfaces showing on his front teeth. With the help of a tissue graft, his root surfaces were covered and his gums look natural!

There can be some good looking teeth hiding underneath the gingiva. Aiden's gums were overgrown and some of his teeth were missing in action. Additionally, the orthodontist was unable to close all of his spaces. With the help of a gingivectomy, Aiden's teeth were exposed and able to shine! We love doing these procedures for our patients. They are so fulfilling for everyone involved- including Mom!
