My favorite part of my job is being able to help people become more confident and happy with their teeth and smiles.

My least favorite part of being a hygienist is all of these new trends for products that do not work and patients wasting their money on them, when in reality we just need to brush and floss daily for good oral health!

It’s , 🦷🪥 and we asked our hygienists to share their favorite and least favorite parts of what they do, and here’s what Alyssa said:

After 9 years as a dental hygienist, the least favorite part about my job is the wear and tear on my body. The daily back aches make it hard sometimes, but that comes with the job.

My favorite part about being a dental hygienist is getting to make a difference in my patients' smiles. Giving people a cleaner and healthier smile gives me so much satisfaction and makes the back aches worth it! ☺️

We asked our hygienists to share their favorite and least favorite parts of what they do, and here’s what Tracy said:

For me, the most rewarding part of being a hygienist is having someone tell me they now love coming to their recall visits after years of being scared to come to the Dentist.

After 31 years of being a Hygienist, My least favorite part of my job is Flossing people's teeth. Tight contacts are a real challenge, but it has to be done.
