The week is off to a great start, except - For an Unknown reason - Suddenly Google lists a Johnson Avenue address for our office, which is incorrect. Due to City-wide Power outages and blocked streets from the storm on Monday, August 10, the office has been closed. We intend to reopen on Wednesday, August 19 and get everyone rescheduled as soon as able. We hope you are doing OK...I believe we are all exhausted from the past days.

We are open and operating under the new guidelines, screening each person and taking temperature upon arrival. It will take time to reschedule everyone, so please feel free to call and we will continue to do our best.

Please bring a mask to your appointment. For anyone who does not bring a mask, we have cloth masks loaners that we launder each day. As always, please notify us if you are symptomatic or have been exposed to anyone who is ill with COVID-19.

We were able to reopen sooner than later thanks for local friends and businesses such as Hassan Igram and Cedar Graphics. Cedar Graphics supplied over 15,000 PPE shields to healthcare workers. They also supplied these three for our office. Just another reason we are grateful to be in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

We are slowly reopening the office. Again, our priority is to run safely and appropriately for everyone. Vicki is still in the process of phoning postponed appointment times - this will take time. The Iowa Dental Board requires that all patients wear masks other than during treatment and each patient will need to interview ahead of time with some basic questions. As always, Vicki will happily return your call if you leave a detailed message.

Hello, Everyone! Yesterday evening, Governor Reynolds announced that dentists may resume providing services with caveats. The caveats include having supplies that are so far unavailable in the sources we've checked. We will continue to search out the supplies needed to reopen and will be phoning to reschedule patients when we are able to reopen. We look forward to reopening safely and appropriately.

UPDATE: The most current proclamation by the Governor of Iowa cites after May 15th as the earliest date that dental offices might reconvene normal operations. As with the previous update from the State of Iowa, we will be contacting each scheduled patient to notify them of the current status.
