Dr. Barnett and his team strive to create an environment where patients of all ages can receive the benefits of orthodontic treatment in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Dr.Barnett is a board certified orthodontic specialist and a Clinical Associate Professor of Orthodontics at the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio, where he teaches part-time.

Did you know that Dr. Barnett digitally sets up all comprehensive braces cases where he can be extremely precise in bracket positioning while looking at an outcome simulator which even includes the roots?

In this case Dr. B was able to ensure a proper path for the impacted canine which will be brought in eventually.

This is just one example of the ways Avery Orthodontics invests in new technology to make our patient’s experiences better and treatment times shorter 🦷 ✨

We loved reading all of the kind things our patients shared about their caring mothers. Some entries made us laugh, while others were incredibly heartfelt.

Although we could only send one mom to the spa, we enjoyed so many of the entries that we selected a few additional winners to receive Ulta gift cards as well.

Dr. Barnett spends Fridays in San Antonio teaching future orthodontists and last week was the residency program comps testing day.

Did you know the orthodontic residents spend 3 years after dental school to specialize while treating 80-90 cases of all types, taking numerous competency exams along with written and clinical board exams?

They also complete master’s level research projects. This rigorous training is why it is important to seek orthodontic care with an orthodontic specialist or at least consult with one before making any treatment decisions.
