As our community copes with the fast-moving spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus we hope you and yours are in good health during these stressful times.
The health of our patients and our community is our number one priority. We want to reassure our patients that every decision we make is done with the best interests of our patients, our employees, and our community in mind.
In accordance with the CDC, ADA, and local dental association recommendations, we have
decided to temporarily stop all nonessential or non-emergency dental care. We will remain
available for emergency dental care services on a case-by-case basis.
If you have an appointment for a routine visit or dental treatment scheduled in the next few weeks, your appointment has been cancelled and we will contact you soon to reschedule it.
If you have a dental emergency, you will be able to reach us on our practice line. We define a dental emergency as:
• Severe toothaches or pain in the mouth
• Swelling in the face or gums
• Trauma or extreme dental injury
• An infection in the gums or teeth
• Bleeding in the mouth that cannot be stopped
Any patient requiring urgent care should contact the office prior to visiting. All other patients, please know that we will reestablish routine dental work and scheduled treatments as soon as we feel it is safe and appropriate to do so.
As your local dentist and a healthcare professional, it is our responsibility and duty to ensure the health and safety of everyone within our reach. In order to slow the spread of the Coronavirus, we feel that ceasing nonessential dental work is the best decision to make at this time. We want you to know that we are carefully monitoring the situation as
the COVID-19 diagnosis continues to evolve, and we are taking all recommendations —including local, state and federal guidelines —very seriously.
We are saddened that we have to limit patient care in this manner but we wouldn’t do so if we weren’t absolutely sure it was in the best interest of our community. We look forward to the day we can reopen our regular services and provide you with the high-quality, patient-focused dental care you deserve and trust.
Thank you for your understanding, loyalty and confidence in our care.
