Nine years.

When we opened the doors at Kidz World Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics, there was one constant who helped turn an empty office into the practice and family we are today… Melanie.

Some people have a job title. Melanie somehow collected all of them.

Trainer. Organizer. Professional problem solver. Community event coordinator. Registered Dental Assistant. OR Assistant. Front desk. Inventory master. The person who somehow knows where everything is. And, as you’ll see in these photos… apparently a professional costume model too. 🎃🎄🦸‍♀️😂

If you’ve ever met us at a community event, chances are Melanie was behind it. If you’ve ever wondered how things always seemed to come together behind the scenes, that was probably Melanie too. She has been the steady hand helping shape our office, our culture, and the relationships we’ve built throughout our community since day one.

Kidz World has truly grown up alongside her.

And somehow, it became a family affair. Over the years, both of her daughters have worked with us, and her husband has answered more than his fair share of our “Hey… any chance you could help us!?” phone calls. (Seriously… thank you! 😂)

As Melanie and her family begin their next adventure in South Carolina, we’re feeling every emotion. We’re incredibly excited for them… and we’re definitely going to miss seeing her walking through the office each day.

But here’s the best part…

This isn’t goodbye.

Melanie will still be part of Team Kidz World, just with a much longer commute. While her office view may soon include South Carolina sunshine instead of New Jersey weather, she’ll continue supporting our team remotely, keeping us organized, trained, stocked, and on track—just as she always has.

Dr. Mike, Dr. Gloria, and Dr. Pete wanted to share just how grateful they are for everything Melanie has poured into this practice over the last nine years. From opening day until now, she has been part of nearly every milestone, every challenge, every celebration, and every season of growth. The success of Kidz World isn’t just something she witnessed—it is something she helped build, every single day. Her loyalty, leadership, and heart have left a mark that will always be part of who we are.

Melanie, thank you for saying “yes” to the countless hats you’ve worn (sometimes literally 😄), for always putting the team first, and for helping create the Kidz World that so many families know and love today.

South Carolina is lucky to have you…

…but we’re even luckier that you’re not getting rid of us that easily. ❤️
