Patel is a respected and accomplished dentist with a decade-long history of creating beautiful and healthy smiles for her patients. Her work is characterized by her warmth, empathy, enthusiasm, and passion for dentistry. Her greatest passion, however, is rooted in developing and investing in long-term relationships. her to create a smile that augments her patientsโ appearance, self-confidence, and person-hood. Education is the cornerstone of this relationship. To that end, Dr. Patel is dedicated to educating patients on how to achieve optimal oral health in keeping with current standards and best practices in dentistry. Dr. Patel graduated magna cm laude with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Nutritional Sciences at the University of Florida. She went on earn her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree at the University of Florida College of Dentistry. As a senior dental student, Dr. Patel was awarded the Delta Dental Foundation Leadership Award and Scholarship for excellence in academic and leadership skills. She then went on to receive post-graduate training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency program. Dr. Patel serves as an adjunct faculty member in the AEGD residency program at UNC Chapel Hill to this day. Dr. Patel began the practice of dentistry in Charlotte, NC after completing her formal education. Little did she know that her education was just beginning! She began working with a group practice in the greater Charlotte and was treating patients with many complex dental needs. Her passion for dentistry and education took over, and Dr. Patel sought out significant additional training via continuing education in the fields of cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, endodontics, prosthodontics, and dental implantology to provide her patients cutting-edge treatment options in line with the latest technological advancements in dentistry. Dr. Patel has certifications in Invisalign and Six Month Smiles treatment. She is highly regarded in her chosen field of cosmetic and restorative dentistry. For her significant endeavors in and contributions to dental education, she has been awarded the prestigious Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) as well as Fellowship in The International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI). Dr. Patel continues to give back to her community on an ongoing basis. She is a regular provider for the North Carolina Baptist Dental Bus, Give Kids a Smile Project, and North Carolina Missions of Mercy. Internationally, she has provided dental care for under served people in Mexico as well as the Dominican Republic. Although most of her family still resides in Florida, Dr. Patel fell in love with the people of North Carolina. In her free time, Dr. Patel enjoys spending her time doing yoga, traveling, reading, and spending time with family, friends, and her little dog Endo!
