Fractured amalgam metal filling and fractured tooth. Patient was having pain to chewing and cold stuff. Here the tooth was minimally prepped to remove the defective areas and the exposed tooth area was sealed with bonding agent. On top a ceramic onlay was bonded. No complex prep design or workflow. Just simple repeatable bonding steps that require patience

We have placed a Dyson Big & Quiet air purifier within the clinic area of our office. Dental environments are susceptible to airborne contaminants, ranging from particulate matter to bacteria, mold, and viruses. This enhancement will ensure a cleaner and healthier air quality experience for both our patients and staff during their visits!

Patient decided to save this tooth with root canal treatment and new crown. Tooth came in with root infection and cavities under the existing crown. Root canal was completed by endodontist. The problem here was that there was not enough tooth height after cavities were removed and tooth surface prep was refined. We opted with adhesive approach by rebuilding the tooth base primed for bonding, and then, bonded a lithium disilicate ceramic crown onto the tooth

A Michelin star chef mentioned the most important aspect of a restaurant = ambiance > service > food. Dentistry should share this approach as well: Making sure patients feel welcomed and comfortable (ambiance), clinically competent clinical staff and doctors as well as competent billing department to provide the best service possible at a reasonable proce point, and lastly, the dental treatment outcome is the icing on the cake. Dr. Lee finished the full marathon this past weekend at the City of Oaks marathon in Raleigh!
Full marathon is 26.2 mi distance that challenges your aerobic endurance and discipline.
To prep for this marathon, Dr. Lee spent 9 months training, running over 900mi and swimming for cross training.
Staying focused, healthy, and disciplined, to do better dentistry and to save more teeth!
