While our practice focuses on human smiles, we care deeply about the oral health of your entire family—including your furry companions. Just like us, pets experience real pain from dental neglect. When plaque and tartar accumulate, they cause severe inflammation, decay, and bone loss, turning everyday chewing into a painful struggle. More importantly, periodontal disease in animals isn't just a localized issue; the resulting bacteria can enter the bloodstream and cause serious damage to vital organs like the heart, liver, and kidneys. Please remember to brush and clean your pet's teeth regularly, keeping their mouth healthy is a vital step in protecting their overall well-being.

You may have heard the saying, “The mouth is a window to your overall health.” But what does that mean? Oral health is deeply connected to the rest of your body. Your mouth can provide visibility into serious health issues including heart disease, respiratory conditions, pregnancy complications, and diabetes. Seeing your dentist for regular cleanings can help with early detection of certain conditions and is an important part of your overall health and wellness.
