Dr. Krishan’s passion for dentistry began with her mother, a dentist who inspired her daughter to become one too. Dr. Krishan saw the joy in her mother's patients’ eyes and knew she wanted to change people's lives through their smiles. Even though her mother has passed away, she is and still remains Dr. Krishan’s role model. She brings this passion to the Dental Studio and is constantly inspired by the work of dentistry. Dr. Limosnero didn’t always know he wanted to be a dentist, but he did know he wanted to be in healthcare and change people’s lives in a positive way. While attending the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston, he met Dr. Krishan, who would later become his partner. During his studies, Dr. Limosnero became interested in dental implantology and continued his training in this discipline, receiving a fellowship with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). Together, Dr. Sandhya Krishan and Dr. Robert Limosnero have built a Dental practice focused on offering the best in technology and patient care. At the Dental Studio of Carrollton and Hurst, TX, they have done exactly that, offering services that fix dental issues while also enlightening their patients about the root cause. The facility is equipped with advanced technology including digital X-rays, intraoral cameras, diagnostic lasers, and the Sapphire Plasma Arc Curing and Whitening Light system. In addition to regular checkups, they offer metal-free fillings, crowns, root canals, bridges, and dentures. If you need orthodontic work they also have ClearCorrect invisible braces and an innovative DNA appliance system that provides a natural way for the body to move teeth into their correct positions.

One of the biggest goals in airway-focused care is creating healthy habits that eventually become automatic.

like brushing your teeth every day, proper breathing, swallowing, and oral posture are learned patterns that can be reinforced over time.

Most people think a straw is just a straw, but the Straw is designed with purpose.

By encouraging proper tongue posture, lip seal, and healthy swallowing patterns, it helps support the muscles involved in breathing, oral development, and airway function.

The Replenish Straw helps turn everyday hydration into an opportunity to practice those patterns.

Because airway health isn't built from one big change—it's often the result of small habits repeated consistently.

Small tool. Everyday use. Long-term benefits. 💧

Watch how effortlessly the water moves when nothing is blocking its path.

That's exactly how breathing should feel.

For many children and adults, the airway isn't flowing freely.

Snoring, mouth breathing, restless sleep, fatigue, difficulty focusing, frequent waking, and even some orthodontic concerns can all be signs that something is disrupting that flow.

The body is incredibly good at compensating. The challenge is that compensation isn't the same as optimal function.

Healthy breathing shouldn't feel like hard work.

We look beyond teeth to understand how the airway is functioning because when breathing flows, everything else tends to work a little better too.

If you breathe through your nose, everything flows.

Most people brush their teeth.
Most people floss.

Very few people think about cleaning the pathway they use to breathe over 20,000 times a day.

Your nose is the body's natural air filter. Throughout the day, it collects dust, pollen, allergens, mucus, and other particles that can contribute to congestion and make nasal breathing more difficult.

That's why nasal rinsing can be a simple but powerful part of an airway-focused routine.

When the nose is clear, it's easier to:
✔ Breathe through your nose
✔ Support better sleep
✔ Reduce congestion
✔ Improve airflow

Of course, nasal rinsing isn't a cure-all. If you're constantly congested, snoring, mouth breathing, or struggling to breathe comfortably through your nose, it may be time to look deeper at what's causing the problem.

Healthy breathing starts with a clear airway. 😉

Kids are far more likely to succeed with treatment when they feel involved in the process…not overwhelmed by it.

We try to make airway care feel encouraging, interactive, and empowering for children so healthy habits become something they’re proud of, not afraid of.

Sometimes the smallest things, like a sticker chart or tracking game, create the consistency that leads to life-changing results. 🤍

Most people think cavities come down to one thing: brushing.

But what if the problem starts with how your child is breathing?

When children breathe through their nose, saliva helps maintain a healthy environment in the mouth while they sleep. When they breathe through their mouth, saliva dries up, acids linger on the teeth, and enamel becomes more vulnerable to breakdown.

That's why airway-focused dentistry looks beyond the teeth themselves.

Because mouth breathing doesn't just affect sleep, focus, and facial development...it can impact oral health too.

The next time you hear a child snoring, sleeping with their mouth open, or waking up with dry lips, don't ignore it.

The airway may be telling a bigger story. 👀

Parents are told all the time that kids will “grow out of” snoring.

But snoring is often a sign that the body is struggling to get proper airflow during sleep.

And when sleep quality suffers… everything else can too.
Focus. Behavior. Mood. Energy. Growth. Even development.

The earlier you identify airway issues, the earlier you can support healthier breathing and better sleep habits before bigger problems develop later on.

Sometimes the signs are louder than we realize. 🤍

Grinding isn’t always a “stress” thing or a “they’ll grow out of it” thing.

For a lot of kids, nighttime grinding is the body reacting to a breathing issue while they sleep. When the airway gets narrow, the jaw and tongue shift to try to open it back up, and that movement can show up as grinding.

It often travels with other signs: mouth breathing, restless sleep, snoring, waking up tired, trouble focusing during the day.

None of this means something is automatically wrong. It just means it’s worth a closer look from someone who knows what to look for.

If your child grinds at night and you’ve wondered if it’s connected to something bigger, comment SNORE and I’ll send you what we check first.

You learn about airway dentistry once… and suddenly SO many things start making sense. 👀

The snoring.
The mouth breathing.
The restless sleep.
The grinding.
The exhaustion.
The focus struggles.
The “they’ll grow out of it” comments.

A lot of symptoms parents are told are “normal” can actually be signs the body is struggling to breathe properly during sleep.

That’s why airway-focused dentistry looks beyond just straight teeth because breathing affects sleep and sleep affects development…and development affects everything.

Sometimes the symptoms are the clue… not the root cause.
