🎡🚫 Fair Food NO-NOs for Braces!

Before you hit the fair, remember: not every fair food is braces-friendly!

🚫 Caramel Apples – Sticky + hard = trouble!
🚫 Taffy & Caramel – Sticky candy can pull on brackets.
🚫 Popcorn – Kernels can get stuck and damage brackets.
🚫 Corn on the Cob – Bite it off the cob? Nope! Cut it off first. 🌽
🚫 Hard Pretzels – Too crunchy for braces.
🚫 Cotton Candy – Super sticky and loaded with sugar.
🚫 Hard Candy – Can crack brackets or bend wires.

🍦 Ice cream (skip the hard toppings!)

🍔 The Summer DOs and DON'Ts

Enjoying summer cookouts and treats is perfectly fine, provided you are mindful of your hardware:

DO: Enjoy soft treats like ice cream, yogurt parfaits, and watermelon.🍉
DO: Cut up hard fruits and veggies (like corn on the cob) to avoid breaking brackets.🌽
DON'T: Bite straight into whole, hard apples or un-shucked corn on the cob.🍎
DON'T: Chew on ice or hard, sticky summer candies🍭
