Sneak peak at the Belleville office. What is unique about this office? It’s a dental office build specifically with general anesthesia in-mind. Over the last few years, we’ve received feedback on the general anesthesia process and we want to improve the overall experience. What we have added:
💥 An individual pre-op room for each family. This allows for more privacy and comfort for every family.
💥 A dedicated exit. This may not seem like a big deal, but when kids wake up from anesthesia they are grumpy. There is nothing worse for the next kiddo than seeing the prior kiddo crying. Minimizing their interactions is a huge advantage for reducing pre-op anxiety.
💥 Updated technology. From the lights, chairs, computers, scanners, etc. Newer technology will shorten the total number of visits for each kid.
💥 The BIGGEST advantage! The office is available for surgery every day. We won’t do surgery every day, at-first (we don’t have enough doctors). But the dedicated space allows us to see more kids without having to close our Carbondale location. If the stars align, this will help us to greatly help with access to care for kids with the greatest needs. More to come on that.
