Dr Utterback got to spend this morning golfing with a long time friend and colleague, Dr. Tom Paumier. Dr. Paumier will be installed as the American Dental Association president this weekend in Indianapolis. Dr. Paumier has done so much for dentistry in our area and will now be the leader for dentists throughout the United States. Congratulations, Dr. Paumier!

How many hats can one doctor wear? Apparently… all of them. 🤣

Dr. Utterback is our owner, leader, speaker, consultant, board member, evaluator, educator… and somehow still finds time to be our boss too. So we figured the only way to properly recognize all that he does was to label him accordingly.

From Dental Sleep Solutions of Northeast Ohio to the Stark County Dental Society, the Ohio State Dental Board, AADSM, consulting, speaking, and everything in between — Dr. Utterback is always saying “yes” to new opportunities and giving his all in every role he takes on.

We like to joke that his availability is questionable and his ability to say “no” is too… but in all seriousness, we are so proud of everything he does and all the ways he represents our office and profession so well.

We couldn't ask for a better boss, even if we do have to wonder how he manages to fit it all into one schedule!

It’s been a busy and rewarding week for Dr. Utterback!

Thursday and Friday, he attended the Ohio Dental Association Annual Meeting as a delegate to the House of Delegates, where he also had the chance to visit with dental students at Ohio State and Case Western Reserve.

He then spent the weekend with longtime dental sleep medicine colleagues Drs. Dave Federici and John Carollo—enjoying great conversations and a few rounds of golf.

And to top it off, he recently joined the Board of Trustees at the University of Mount Union and completed his orientation this week.

Lots of great opportunities, great people, and exciting things ahead!

As soon as he walked through the door, we told him there was a TON of water all over the floor by the autoclave… 🫪

Technically, we weren’t lying. 😂

Yesterday we had our annual work family cookout at Dr. Utterback’s house!

He and his wife were so kind to host all of us for such a fun evening. We had amazing food, delicious desserts, yummy drinks, lots of laughs, and shared plenty of great stories together… and of course, somehow still managed to talk about work too! 😂

So thankful for such a great team and for nights like these spent together outside of the office! ❤️
