Our office has had alot of phone calls asking if we are collecting candy for the buy-back this year. We are but with a few changes. We are doing a drop and go. We have alot of changes our office is currently going through, special training for all of our staff and upgrading our current systems. With that Dr. Terhune doesn't want to add the extra work with the buy-back. We will be donating all the candy to local shelters. When you drop off your candy there will be slips paper to leave your name and phone number. We will be giving away a Sky Zone gift card. Thank you for your understanding and next year we will back to normal!!

Hey friends & family...we are heading out this Tuesday May 3rd on our mission trip to the Eli House Mission in San Luis Rio Colorado Mexico. We know this is last minute but we are going to be making care packages for the families who come to the dental clinic. If anyone would be willing to donate coloring books or crayons that would be awesome! Anything small for the children would be great, alot of them are still not back in school and are probably running out of things to do. We are planning on around 50. Thanks so much!! We will be in the office the rest of today, all day Monday and Tuesday morning till noon.

Family & friends...we are asking for some last minute help. We had a very generous dentist donate his entire dental office "all of the contents" to us for our use at the Eli House Mission in San Luis Mexico where we go on our dental mission trips. The only thing we need to do is pack it for transporting. We are asking anyone who would be willing, to donate large storage tubs w/ lids. We are hoping for 20-30. We need these by Tuesday June 9 @ 5pm at the latest. We will be closing our office for the afternoon on the 10th to pack. Thanks in advance if you can donate!!

Hello to all of our valued patients and families!

We are so excited to share that Governor DeWine and Ohio public health experts are allowing dental practices to resume patient care as of May 1, 2020. We are very excited to see all of your smiling faces again in the near future!

In order to best serve all of our patients, we ask that you DO NOT call our office to schedule you or your child’s appointment. Please continue to have patience as we diligently work to contact everyone to schedule an appointment date and time.

With the health of our patients, families, and staff in mind upon re-opening, Terhune Dental will provide care while reducing risk according to U.S. Centers for Disease Control, Ohio Department of Health, and the Ohio Dental Board using the following health guidelines:

* Health screenings for staff, patient and caregivers.

* All staff will continue to be screened for symptoms of
COVID-19 upon entering the office.
* Patients will be asked about symptoms of COVID-19 at
check-in for an appointment. If you have symptoms or if you
have a close, home contact with COVID-19, you will be
rescheduled.

* Physical distancing for staff, patients, and caregivers.

* We ask caregivers of established patients to remain in their
cars to decrease the number of people in the waiting room.
Staff will come out to discuss treatment updates and
someone will call you during that time to schedule the next
appointment.

* If caregivers must come in to the office, they must remain
six feet away from others in the waiting room and other
shared areas.

* Patients will be scheduled to ensure that more than six feet
are maintained between patients.

* Recommended face coverings for everyone.

* We recommend all caregivers entering the office wear a
face covering. This can be a cloth mask.

* All staff will wear a mask at all times. Routine personal
protective gear will be utilized for exams and procedures as
normal.

* Rigorous cleaning of shared spaces and high touch
surfaces.

- Routine, OSHA compliant sterilization procedures will continue as always.

- Staff will clean high touch surfaces in shared areas after
each patient.

* Special attention for vulnerable patients and families.

* Special appointment times will be made for patients >65 years of age or those with underlying medical conditions that place them at greater risk of complications from infection with COVID-19.

* Please inform our staff if you require an appointment at a time without other patients in the office.
