Precious Smiles Children & Family Dentistry proudly serves the Carlisle & Camp Hill, Pennsylvania area. Our town has an assortment of historic museums and a nice waterfront strip along the Susquehanna River. Beyond downtown, residential and industrial areas spread across the river into Camp Hill and Mechanicsburg to the west. We are near big cities like New York City, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Baltimore, and Pittsburgh, which means you can easily travel during weekends and enjoy touring the area. The cost of living here is much better than the big cities too. There really is something for everyone to enjoy!

What You’ll Be Working On
●Provide exceptional customer service and build trust with patients of all ages
●Prepare treatment rooms including, but not limited to, set-up, decontamination, sterilizing and sharpening instruments, restocking supplies
●Educate patients and their parents on the importance of preventative care, the disease process and the role of bacteria; provide appropriate instruction on home care
●Conduct teeth cleaning and inspect conditions of oral cavity, recording treatment information on the patient’s chart
●Educate patients on oral health and the importance of preventative care
●Schedule patient’s next treatment appointment
●Assists Dentists with determining treatments for teeth or gum diseases and handling dental emergencies
Qualifications
●Registered Dental Hygienist in Pennsylvania is required
●5 - 10 years of experience as a hygienist is preferred
●In-depth experience with proper diagnosis
●Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
●Team player with the ability to work independently on goals and objectives
●Highly motivated with a demonstrated passion for growth and development
●Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail
