Dr. Bharathi Charugundla earned a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree (DMD) from Boston University’s Goldman School of Dental Medicine. She has completed advanced continuous education training in restorative dentistry, including crowns and bridges, cosmetic dentistry, laser dentistry, root canal treatment and implant restorations. Dr. Bharathi Charugundla keeps up with the latest advancements in dentistry to provide excellent care to my valuable patients. We hope to see you and your loved ones soon!

A missing tooth wasn’t an option for him and his tooth was too broken to fix, so we did an immediate implant: the tooth comes out and the implant goes in during the same visit.

A temporary tooth is placed so you can still smile, talk, and live normally. That temporary tooth fills the space while the implant heals and bonds to the bone underneath. Once healing is done, usually in a few weeks, we place the final crown.

Not everyone is a candidate for same-day placement. It depends on your bone and gum health, which is exactly what we check at your consultation.

All Paws on Deck Street Fair was a good reminder of why we love calling Camas home. 🐾

Friendly faces, furry friends, and a whole lot of neighbors who showed up for their pups and each other.

A huge shoutout to the Camas High School students of CAMAS DECA, who helped put this whole event together for the eighth year in a row. Every dollar raised goes to the West Columbia Gorge Humane Society to help animals in our community find their people. We’re so proud of these students and the work they do for our town.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hi and grab a swag bag and some treats. We hope your dogs enjoyed them as much as we enjoyed meeting them! Can’t wait to see you at the next one!

Thankful to all my patients who trust me .. My 12th same-day implant this month!

For the right patient, an implant can be placed when a tooth is removed. That can mean one less surgery and a shorter treatment timeline. Removing the tooth gently also helps protect the bone around it, and the space it leaves helps guide where the implant goes.

I’m always happy to help fellow dentists who want to learn gentle extraction techniques or feel more confident placing same-day implants.

I’ll share the temporary crown for this case soon. I’m not always the best at posting after surgery, but I’ll try! I also have another same-day implant planned for tooth #7 this afternoon.

I love how implant and cosmetic dentistry work together. When I’m planning a full smile with crowns or veneers, I can think about the implant’s position as part of the whole smile and bite.
