MYTH: All Invisalign treatment is the same

Think Invisalign is only for straightening a few crooked teeth? This is a myth of the past.

At All Star Orthodontics, we offer a variety of Invisalign treatment options, from minor smile adjustments to more advanced orthodontic corrections.

🦷 Invisalign Lite: For patients who need smaller corrections, such as mild crowding or spacing. Similar to what is offered by most general dental practices.

🦷 Invisalign First: Designed for younger patients with developing smiles. It can help address early orthodontic concerns while reducing the need for certain bulky metal appliances.

🦷 Invisalign with Rubber Bands: That’s right! At All Star, Dr. Le can use orthodontic elastics in combination with Invisalign to help correct how your upper and lower teeth fit together.

🦷 Invisalign Mandibular Advancement (MA): Advanced aligners with specialized bite-positioning features that help guide the lower jaw forward in growing patients with certain Class II bite problems.

This fall, All Star Orthodontics is spreading more than just smiles! We’re hosting our Fall Comfort Drive, and we’d love your help giving back to our community.

We’re collecting NEW blankets to donate to a local shelter and help keep individuals and families warm this fall and winter.

Donation Dates: Monday, October 12th through Thanksgiving, November 26th.

FAQ: What is Growth & Development Orthodontic Treatment?
Think of Growth & Development as keeping an eye on your child’s smile while they grow and making sure we’re ready with the right game plan at the right time!

Not every little All Star who visits the orthodontist needs to jump into treatment right away. Sometimes the best play is to watch, wait, and give their teeth and jaws more time to grow and develop.

During Growth & Development visits, our All Star team keeps an eye on things like jaw growth, how permanent teeth are coming in, crowding and spacing, and how the bite is developing. These check-ins help us determine whether your child can stay on the sidelines a little longer or if it may be time to get in the game with orthodontic treatment.

The American Association of Orthodontists recommends that children have their first orthodontic evaluation by age 7. And don’t worry, that doesn’t mean braces at 7! It simply gives us an early look at your child’s developing smile so we can spot potential concerns and plan ahead if needed.

Sometimes we watch. Sometimes we treat. Either way, our goal is to choose the right play at the right time and help set your little All Star up for a winning smile! 🏆
