Dear Patients and Friends,
After 27 years of caring for you and your families, saying goodbye is deeply difficult. I had not planned to retire for several more years, but Abigailโs recent cancer diagnosis reminded us how precious our time together is. We are grateful that her surgery was successful, and we feel it is time to begin this next chapter. You have become much more to me than patients. I have watched children grow up and bring in children of their own, shared in your joys and difficult moments, and treasured our conversations and laughter. Thank you for your trust, your friendship, and for allowing me to be a small part of your lives. Being your dentist has been one of the great privileges of my life.
Leaving these relationships was one of the hardest parts of this decision, and I wanted to entrust your care to someone I would trust with my own family. I have found that person in Dr. Melissa Pysnak, whom I have known for several years. She is a skilled clinician, a person of integrity, and someone who genuinely cares about people. Please give her the opportunity to earn your trust and continue the thoughtful care you have known here. Abigail and I leave with full hearts and tremendous gratitude. We will miss seeing you and will always look back on our years with you with great affection.
With heartfelt thanks,
Dr. Lloyd
Dear Patients and Friends of Pearl Dentistry,
It is a privilege to be entrusted with the future of Pearl Dentistry and the opportunity to continue the thoughtful, compassionate care you have known from Dr. Lloyd for so many years. I first met Dr. Lloyd shortly after I moved to Idaho and came to admire his empathy for his patients, commitment to our community, and dedication to providing excellent care. I am thrilled to carry forward what he has built at Pearl Dentistry and want this to remain a place where you are known, valued, and cared for.
A little about me. I grew up in Utah and earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Utah in 2018. I then completed a one-year hospital residency at the VA Medical Center in Salt Lake City. After practicing in Utah for several years, I was delighted to move to Idaho in 2022 to be closer to family. I feel fortunate to call this beautiful state home and enjoy all that it offers outdoors.
A transition after so many years with a trusted dentist is significant, and I am honored that Dr. Lloyd has placed his confidence in me. I hope to earn yours as well. I look forward to meeting each of you!
Warmly,
Dr. Melissa Pysnak, DDS
