The Fort Madison bridge is going to be closed starting at noon on Saturdays and ending at noon on Monday's from Jan 24-March 3rd, 2026.

The Daily Democrat has received confirmation from BNSF that the Fort Madison Toll Bridge will be closed to road traffic May 4 through June 26 and again from Sept. 21
