Bernard W. Lynch, DMD, FAGD at Dental Care Burke Dr. Bernard Lynch is interested in not only being one of the best dentists for his patients, but also ensuring their long-term overall health and comfort.

Dr. Bernard Lynch is interested in not only being one of the best dentists for his patients, but also ensuring the long-term overall health and comfort of the patients in his care. He has spent more than a decade pursuing the latest technology and advancements in dentistry in order to help his patients feel more comfortable when they sit in his chair. While there are thousands of options for famil

y dentists, Dr. Lynch has been recognized as one of the top dentists many times over due to his constant attention to the feelings and mind-set of his patients while they are in his care. “Many patients recall their experiences with traditional dentistry. They remember discomfort and pain. So, from our first contact with a new patient, our staff is committed to making that person comfortable.” – Dr. Lynch In order to ensure that each person that Dr. Lynch has contact with has the best dental care, it is essential to take a holistic approach to dental hygiene, and ensure that all possible problems are addressed well before they lead to more trouble and a much more costly experience. Dr. Lynch’s passion and drive centers around two basic concepts: finding new and creative ways to help his patients become comfortable in a dentist’s chair, and the theory that overall oral health is more than just the occasional cleaning or filling. “Good dentistry is not only about brushing or good hygiene. We’re here to keep a patient’s oral health in the best possible condition. In many, if not most, new patients that means restoring the patient’s oral health to optimum condition.” – Dr. Lynch Dr. Lynch believes it is essential for his clients to know that their dentist cares about gaining as much education as possible to ensure they stay safe, comfortable, and end up with the best possible smile for their whole life. Dr. Lynch has to ensure his client’s comfort and safety and in order to do that he consistently works to stay up to date with the latest technology and dentistry advances. Dr. Lynch knows how important it is for him to never stop learning about dentistry, and because of that, he insists on keeping himself in and among the top organizations, groups, and colleagues in the industry. To help gain a better understanding of the importance Dr. Lynch places in education, he is a graduate of the prestigious Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, and was selected among the top graduates to complete residency training in comprehensive dentistry at Hampton Virginia Veterans Administration Medical Center. Dr. Lynch also completed studies in advanced dentistry with Peter E. Dawson. Most recently Dr. Lynch became a Fellow with the Academy of General Dentistry, which only 1% of dentists achieve AGD fellowship status in the US, and he has also spent hours of extensive advanced training with American Academy Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Lynch completed course work in comprehensive dentistry with Dr. Frank Spear of Spear Education and additional advanced dentistry training with the LD Pankey Institute. In order to help him ensure the comfort of all of his patients, he spent time with the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation. He is qualified for accreditation with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and a member of the Northern VA Dental Society. The Northern Virginia Magazine named Dr. Lynch as one of Northern Virginia;Top Dentists” in 2009 and again in 2011, and the Consumer Research Council of America nominated him as one of “America’s Top Dentists.”
