Have You Heard of an iTero® Digital Scanner?

If you think dental impressions still involve trays full of messy impression material, it's time to meet iTero digital scanning technology!

Our iTero scanner uses a small handheld wand to create a highly detailed 3D digital image of your teeth and gums—right here in the dental office.

But what does that mean for YOU?

✨ More comfortable: No more traditional impression trays for many procedures.

Highly detailed: Digital scanning captures the shape and position of your teeth to help our dental team evaluate your smile and plan treatment.

Instant digital images: Instead of waiting for a physical impression to be shipped somewhere, your scan is available digitally almost immediately.

Better treatment planning: iTero scans can be used for a variety of dental applications, including restorative treatment, orthodontic planning, retainers, and Invisalign® treatment.

A visual way to understand your smile: Digital scans can help you and your dentist see areas of your mouth in a whole new way and better understand recommended treatment.

And one of the coolest parts? We're able to see your teeth in 3D right on the screen while we're scanning. 🤯

Technology like iTero allows us to combine comfort, digital precision, and advanced treatment planning to provide a more modern dental experience.

Curious about your options? 🦷💫

That’s where we come in! 💙 Our dental team can evaluate your smile, discuss your goals, and help determine which professional whitening option may give you the best and safest results.

Whether you're looking to brighten your smile for a special occasion or simply want to feel more confident every day, we can help you find the right approach.

🦷✨ Is Your Child’s Baby Tooth Ready to Come Out? Here’s How to Know!

That first wiggly tooth is a BIG milestone! 🥹🦷 But how do you know when it’s actually ready to come out—and what should you do when your child is nervous?

Here are a few signs a baby tooth is getting ready to make its exit:

👋 It’s very loose — Your child may be able to gently wiggle it with their tongue or clean fingers.

🦷 You can see the adult tooth coming in — Sometimes the permanent tooth starts appearing behind or underneath the baby tooth.

✨ The tooth is barely attached — When the root has naturally dissolved and the tooth is extremely loose, it may come out on its own.

❤️ How can you help your child?

✔️ Encourage them to gently wiggle the tooth—but don't force it.

✔️ Keep brushing and flossing around the area. A little tenderness is normal.

✔️ If the tooth falls out on its own, have your child gently rinse their mouth with water.

✔️ A small amount of bleeding can be normal. Have them bite gently on clean gauze if needed.

🚨 One important tip: Don't pull a baby tooth just because it is loose. Baby teeth usually fall out when they're ready, and your dentist can let you know if there is a reason a tooth should be removed.

And if your child is nervous, remember: losing a tooth is a new experience! Let them ask questions, celebrate the milestone, and make it fun. 🥰🧚‍♀️

💬 Parents—what was your child's reaction to their first loose tooth? Excited? Nervous? Or absolutely fascinated by it? 😂👇
