Dr Margossian is a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon and maxillofacial prosthodontist and has been in private practice in Burbank for 14 years. Dr. Margossian graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry where he also specialized in maxillofacial prosthodontics. Dr. Margossian underwent oral and maxillofacial surgery residency pr

ogram at the University of Florida in Jacksonville and Gainesville. Following his residency program, Dr. Margossian underwent a fellowship program in facial reconstructive surgery at Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Joseph Providence in Burbank and Glendale Adventist Hospital in Glendale. AWARDS & RECOGNITIONS

Dr. Margossian's thesis received the best research award by the American Assosiation Of Maxillofacial Prosthodontists. Dr. Margossian recieved Recognition by the State Senator and Los Angeles Mayor for his contributions to Burbank Kids Clinic in 2008. He also received the 2011 Special Honoree Commendation by the County of Los Angeles and the California Legislature Assembly. PAST & PRESENT POSITIONS

Dr. Margossian served as a faculty member at Indiana University School of Dentistry Prosthodontic Department, Oral Hygiene Department and the Oral Surgery Department at USC School of Dentistry. He is the past chairman of Oral Surgery and Dentistry Department at St. Joseph Hospital in Burbank and a member of head and neck tumor team at Disney Cancer Center. To recreate missing bone prior to dental implants placement, Dr.Margossian uses 3 D titanium scaffold(Yxoss_Geistlich, Germany)to generate new bone vertically and horizontally.
This is a minimally invasive technique with less post operative pain and discomfort.
However it does require meticulous planning and surgical technique.

This will increase bone heights and width.
Six month after implants were placed in new bone.
Three years follow up demonstrate sustainable bone around dental implants.
