YES, YOU MUST STILL WEAR A MASK WHILE INSIDE OUR OFFICE!!
Even though the mask guidelines have changed for fully vaccinated people in many settings, the guidelines HAVE NOT CHANGED for healthcare facilities. All patients and employees are required to wear a mask and/or face shield at all times except for patients who are actively receiving dental treatment.
The dental community has been extremely careful during the entire pandemic and as a result, dentists and dental offices have experienced significantly less spread of COVID-19 when compared to other front-line healthcare workers and facilities, and this is despite early concerns that dental offices would be highly likely to spread all infectious diseases due to the nature of what we do.
Our office has implemented many new protocols and systems over the past year to ensure the health of our patients and our staff, and we will continue to follow the recommendations from the CDC and the American Dental Association to keep us all healthy!
