There’s a lot more to ODL than just the team here in Buffalo, and one of the biggest parts of that is our amazing ODL South team in Costa Rica.

For more than a year now, Brandon, Dr. Tati, Dr. Monica, Dr. Rebe, Dr. Mercedes, Dr. Carolina, Marco, Filipe, and Jonathan have worked alongside our Buffalo team every day. They’re a full-time part of ODL and play a huge role in helping us maintain the quality, consistency, and service our doctors count on.

We’ve also had the chance to welcome several of them to Buffalo, spend time together, and really get to know each other beyond Zoom calls and case discussions. Even though they’re in another country, we absolutely consider them part of our in-house team—just with better weather. 😂

Costa Rica has an incredible talent pool, and we’re so proud of the team we’ve built there. Their skill, experience, and commitment make ODL better every single day.

This is why CBCT review matters.

During our first Atlas webinar, Dr. Nick Colvin of Carolina OMF Imaging walked through a MARPE case where the appliance side looked strong — but the scan revealed a much bigger clinical picture, including a significantly narrow airway and frontal sinus opacification associated with severe headaches.

That’s the point of Atlas.

Not just more information. Better clinical discussion.

Diagnosis, radiology, airway, appliance design, and treatment planning all have to come together if we want better decisions before treatment begins.

There are a lot of great communities in orthodontics.

Some lean into practice growth. Some lean into entrepreneurship. Some lean into clinical pearls.

What feels underbuilt is the space between the appliance, the diagnosis, the radiology, and the actual clinical application and the ability to collaborate on those ideas.

That gap matters.

Atlas Forum is our attempt to build something around that.

A place for orthodontists who want deeper education around things like transverse diagnosis, CBCT evaluation, skeletal expansion, MARPE, airway, and the clinical decision-making that actually drives better treatment.
