Buffalo Oral Surgery Specialists welcomes FULL-TIME surgeon Dr. Knika Sethi!

Dr. Sethi completed her training at Carle Foundation Hospital, Illinois' level 1 trauma center. During her residency, Dr. Sethi worked as an associate clinical professor at the Carle Illinois College of Medicine. She was heavily involved in research and completed rotations in Anesthesia, General Surgery, Intensive Care, ENT, Plastic Surgery, and Neurosurgery. Dr. Sethi is trained in full-scope oral and maxillofacial surgery including trauma, head and neck oncology, cleft lip and palate, and jaw surgery. She has an impressive skill set when removing wisdom teeth, dentoalveolar surgery, and implants to restore form and function. Her co-workers and patients describe her as kind, compassionate, driven, and focused.

World Class!

Buffalo Oral Surgery Welcomes Dr. Peter Chen.

Dr. Chen graduated from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in the top 10% of his class. Following Dental school, he returned home to complete his General Practice Residency at the Bronx Veterans Affairs Medical Center. During his residency, Dr. Chen completed Anesthesia, General Surgery, ENT, Intensive Care, and Internal Medicine rotations, culminating with being Chief Resident of Woodhull Hospital and Bronx Care Hospital and being named resident of the year.

Dr. Chen became a surgeon and professor with New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medicine, where he performs complex oral and maxillofacial surgery and trains Oral Surgery and Dental residents. He has also started to see patients at our Linwood office in Buffalo, NY.

Dr. Chen spends his free time with his friends and family. He enjoys the arts with his wife, a classically trained pianist. Their two children keep them very busy, with his 7-year- old daughter aspiring to be a “Ballerina-Dentist” and his 4-year-old son always finding new adventures. Dr. Chen is a senior member of his Church and always tries to volunteer and participate in medical missions.
