Bittersweet day for us today as we celebrate Debbie’s final day, as she is retiring after 17 years helping us in our practice. We will miss her so much, but we also know she will have much deserved time in her retirement. All the best and thank you so much for helping us take such good care of our patients. Congratulations! 🎉🎊🎈

Dear Patients, families, and friends,

Thank you for your patience during this temporary closure. The Governor recently issued a new Executive Order related to resuming elective care (Executive Order 20-51), which gives us permission to start seeing additional patients on Monday May 11.

Our number one priority is the safety and health of our patients and our team. We have put together a detailed Implementation Plan to reopen, which includes prioritizing and phasing in both the number and types of procedures. This is necessary to ensure safe distancing and systems are in place for all procedures. We have always followed stringent CDC guidelines regarding infection control and will continue to do so, along with some additional new precautions:

• We will be screening all patients prior to appointments for specific symptoms. You can also fill out the Patient Screening Form online prior to your appointment: https://www.albertvillesmiles.com/patient-forms
• We are asking that only the patient come into the treatment area, or just one parent/guardian
• We are asking everyone to wear a mask to the appointment
• Patients should brush at home before their appointment, we have closed the brushing area
• When you arrive, please check in from your car with our new app with your phone. There will be a link on our website, you can scan a QR code at the office.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we begin the scheduling process and do our best to get patients back in the office.

Governor Walz has issued a new Executive Order related to resuming elective care. (Executive Order 20-51). This means that elective dental procedures could start early next week. Once we know this has been finalized, our staff will begin calling to schedule patients. The plan is to minimize the amount of time between appointments for all patients, meaning that patients due just after we closed will be scheduled first. As always, we will prioritize patients that are in pain or have more urgent issues. Thank you for your continued patience and understanding as we begin the process of phasing in our patient care. More updates coming soon.

Dear Albertville and Buffalo Orthodontics patients, family, and friends,

Thank you for your understanding in this difficult time. I am writing to inform you that the Governor has just announced an extension of the stay at home order for Minnesota. Therefore, we are forced to continue our temporary closure.

Due to this order, all appointments currently scheduled prior to May 13, 2020 are cancelled. We will need to wait to reschedule these once we have a firm idea on when we are going to be able to reopen our offices.

Our office staff will still be available with limited hours to answer phones. If you have a non-urgent question, please leave a message and someone will contact you soon. If you have an emergency - pain, trauma - please know that Dr. Resch will be available during this time for emergency questions and appointments. Leave a message and Dr. Resch will get back to you as soon as possible.

Dr. Resch is also available via virtual appointments, which can be scheduled from the home page of our website.

I apologize for the inconvenience that this may create and appreciate your understanding during this unique and difficult time.

Sincerely,

Dr. David Resch
