Just a reminder for the safety of our staff and other patients:
Although the general CDC guidelines have recently changed, the traditional 10 Day quarantine/isolation
period for COVID diagnosis, positive tests, and exposures (unless fully vaccinated and up to date on
booster) is still required for patients of dental offices since they are unable to wear a mask while
procedures are being performed.
If you or your child has had COVID symptoms, tested positive for COVID, or had a COVID exposure
(unless fully vaccinated and boosted) withing the last 10 days, please contact our office and we will be
happy to reschedule your appointment.
Thank you for your cooperation in keeping everyone safe!

We understand that COVID guidelines are changing as case numbers in WNY rise and decline. Our office has updated its policies to be in accordance with current NY Health Department and the NY Dental Association's guidelines:

As a healthcare facility, masks continue to be required regardless of vaccination status. You MUST WEAR A MASK to enter our office. Please bring a mask to your appointments.

COVID screening questionnaires continue to be required prior to each appointment. The questionnaire can be accessed on our website, COVID.RichterOrtho.com, or through the link sent via text the night before or up to 2 hours prior to your appointment. Temperatures will continue to be taken upon check-in.

One parent or guardian may accompany their child into the office for appointments. Parents must also wear masks and submit to temperature screenings only.

If you arrive more than 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment, please call us at (716) 631-9924 and we will let you know if we are ready for you. You no longer need to call our office before entering at your regularly schedule appointment time as long as you have completed a COVID questionnaire and have a mask.

We thank everyone so much for being understanding and cooperative throughout this pandemic and we will continue to update you all as our office polices change to align with the NYSDOH, NYSDA, and CDC guidelines.
