Caring for patients doesn’t stop at the office door.
This week, Dr. Bethers traveled to Washington, D.C. for Day on the Hill with the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the OMS Action Network, joining oral surgeons from across the country to advocate for the future of patient care.
During this annual event, surgeons meet directly with members of Congress to share real patient stories, explain how healthcare policies impact access to care, and ensure their patients’ needs are heard at the highest level.
From protecting access to essential procedures to advancing policies that support safety, education, and high-quality surgical care, this work helps shape the future of oral surgery - not just for today’s patients, but for generations to come.
