Not every Invisalign provider has the same level of training, experience, or comfort treating complex orthodontic cases with clear aligners.

If you’ve been told you aren’t a candidate for Invisalign, here’s what to look for when seeking a second opinion:

✔️ A Top 1% Invisalign Provider with extensive experience treating Invisalign cases
✔️ A provider who can show you results from cases similar to yours
✔️ A practice that uses advanced digital treatment planning and customized treatment plans

Invisalign can do much more today than it could years ago, but success depends on the diagnosis, custom treatment planning, and the expertise behind it.

That’s why we always encourage patients to ask questions, review before-and-after photos, and seek a second opinion if they’re unsure about their options.

Headed to summer camp or packing for a special summer vacation? ☀️ If your child has braces, don’t forget to pack the orthodontic essentials.

Here’s my orthodontist-approved toiletry bag checklist:

✔️ Spinbrush battery-powered toothbrush with soft bristles
✔️ GUM Orthodontic Wax
✔️ GUM Interdental Proxy Brushes
✔️ Platypus Orthodontic Flossers
✔️ Shock Doctor Gel Max Mouthguard
✔️ Toothpaste
✔️ A fun toiletry bag to keep it all together - this one is from Scout!

Most of these are easy to find at Walmart or on Amazon, and having them packed ahead of time can make it so much easier to keep teeth clean, protect braces, and handle little orthodontic emergencies while away from home.

Save this before you pack! 🦷✨

Invisalign only works when you wear it.

Consistency matters more than almost anything else in orthodontic treatment. So if treatment feels ‘slow’… the first thing to look at is wear time. 🤍

A little irritation when you first get braces is completely normal and temporary.

Your cheeks and lips just need time to adjust (usually a few days). In the meantime, dental wax is your BFF. 🤍
