When this family first came to us, they weren’t sure braces would even be possible for their son because of his sensory challenges.
So we took it one visit, one step and one conversation at a time.
We explained what we were going to do before we did it. We made adjustments when something felt uncomfortable. We even ordered different gloves when we learned the smell of our standard gloves was difficult for him. Sometimes the seemingly smallest accommodations can make the biggest difference.
Today, he’s successfully undergoing orthodontic treatment, his family drives more than an hour to see us, and they’ve since entrusted us with their daughter’s care, too.
To this family: thank you for trusting Dr. Conn, Kaitlyn and our entire team with your son. Hearing that we helped change what you thought was possible for him means more to us than you know.
