It's texts like these that make our day 🥹 This patient was embarrassed she let her tooth infection get as bad as it did, but Dr. Lara helped her feel right at home.

The first time I got lip filler, I *cried* during the procedure. 😣Even though I had been through childbirth before, the mouth is so very sensitive. The assistant had to wipe tears while I was being injected. Even worse- I did not get the shape I was hoping for AND the low quality filler dissolved within weeks.

On top of that, because it is so painful- most injectors can't do the procedures that create beautiful lips. At most a patient can stand 4-6 pokes, so they have to push the needle far into the lip and fill slowly backwards... which means no shaping, which means you end up with the duck lips everyone is afraid of.

➡️Not at Dente. 👄😉Two words- DENTAL BLOCK 🙌

Do you notice the difference between these two smiles? 🥹

In Dental School, Dr. Lara learned about something called, "Mom Mouth". This is when Mom's schedule everyone else's appointments... except their own. They prioritize their kids over themselves, and put their health last. Dentists are not the only ones who see this, many providers do.

Since we know full well that if Mom is going to make it to the Dentist, she will be the one to schedule it herself- this is a message for you Mama.

For the one who is always giving, prioritizing others, and who insists on being behind the camera.

For the one who's grandkids will only find pictures of her with a tight, close lipped smile....

For the one who's afraid to laugh too hard or smile too big...
