After many wonderful years serving this community, I am excited to share some special news about the future of our dental practice.

As many of you know, I have been retired from patient care for some time, and I am proud to officially pass the torch to my daughter, Dr. Jessica Miller, as the new owner of the practice.

This transition is especially meaningful because dentistry has been a family tradition for three generations. My father, Dr. Jerry Friedman, began caring for patients in our community many years ago. I was honored to continue that legacy, and now Dr. Miller will carry it forward as the third generation of our family to serve patients through this practice.

One of the greatest joys throughout the years has been caring for multiple generations of families. We have watched children become parents and grandparents, and today we are fortunate to have many third-generation patients who continue to place their trust in us. That trust has meant everything to our family.

While our practice continues to grow and welcome new patients, our commitment remains unchanged: providing compassionate, high-quality dental care while treating every patient like family.

I could not be more proud of Dr. Miller. Many of you already know her well, as she has been caring for patients here for several years. Her dedication, skill, and genuine care for people make her the perfect person to lead the practice into its next chapter.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for allowing our family to care for yours. Your support and loyalty over the years have been an incredible blessing, and I am excited to see the practice continue to thrive under Dr. Miller's leadership.

With gratitude,

Dr. Gary Friedman

Did you know? When enamel is worn or gums have receded, cold air can easily reach the inner layers of your teeth, triggering sensitivity. Habits like breathing through your mouth and spending time in dry, heated spaces may also reduce saliva flow. Staying hydrated and using toothpaste designed for sensitivity can help keep your smile comfortable no matter the temperature. For more information, call +1 317-852-1446.

Ever wonder why sipping ice water can make your tooth zing? That sensation doesn’t come from the outside of the tooth itself, but from what’s happening deep inside. Tiny channels within the tooth, called dentin tubules, transmit changes that activate nerves, turning temperature shifts into sharp discomfort. It’s a microscopic process with a very noticeable reaction. If you're experiencing this kind of sensitivity, call +1 317-852-1446 to schedule a checkup.

Your gums do more than hold your teeth in place — they also help protect the underlying structures that support your smile. Caring for your gums helps reduce the risk of inflammation, bone loss and systemic health concerns linked to periodontal disease. In fact, gum health is an important part of overall wellness. Strong, healthy support creates a smile that feels as good as it looks. Call +1 317-852-1446 for more information.
